Sam C. Cartner, , Sr., David W. Cartner, Jim P. Cartner

Cartner Christmas Tree Farm is family
owned, operated and located in the heart of the Blue
Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. Since 1959,
the Cartners have specialized in growing exclusively
high quality Fraser Firs. Active in management is
the founder, Sam Cartner, and their
sons, David, Jim and Sam.

Only in the southern Appalachian Mountains
above 4,000 feet does the Fraser fir grow naturally.
Being indigenous to our Blue Ridge Mountains nature
bestowed upon us the soil, climate and elevation to
grow the most elegant, yet rugged, Christmas tree
on the market today.
